Locally owned vet clinic with the most caring people through and through. From reception, to techs, to the vets-they truly care and treat my dogs as if they were their own.

When I brought my 2 cats in for their annual checkups the techs and the vet were very knowledgeable and nice. They even went specifically out of their way to tell me about their clinic and how they set aside time in their schedules for emergencies should it ever arise. I took the boys in 3 separate times (3 separate years), and got a different vet each time but they were all nice. Now the reason for the 2 stars… I woke up at 6:40 to find my male cat straining to pee (google said this is an emergency and needs to be addressed right away), I called the emergency vet and asked if I was ok to wait until whole pet opened so that I could snag one of their emergency slots, they said it was ok to wait since it was soon but that I should definitely take him in. 7:30 comes around and I call right away. Somehow the schedule is full?? Even though they specifically told me before they leave spaces for emergencies like this? The girl on the phone did say the cat not being able to pee was a huge issue and that I will have to take him to the emergency vet. This sucked because the emergency vet is more expensive but it’s what I had to do apparently. The emergency vet was full of wonderful people don’t get me wrong, but more money. That was on a Thursday. After going through the whole weekend, through Monday and Tuesday, no one had called to check on the well-being of my cat. I would hope that after turning me away from their services, knowing I was having an emergency situation, they would at least check and make sure he was ok. I hoped too much. My other cat rejected the sick one after coming home from the emergency clinic so I thought I would give whole pet another shot and ask for help, maybe they just had a bad day, maybe there was more to the story. Tuesday I call an hour before they close and ask if they had any tips for my situation. I got a front desk girl who said someone could call me tomorrow morning. I told her I work the next day and will not be able to answer in the morning but I have an hour lunch starting at 12 or I get off at 5. They called me the next day at 9:30 and left a voicemail. So I was unable to talk to the vet. So to say things more simply: -Whole Pet does not set aside time for emergencies, you should save your money so you can afford the emergency vet because that is where you will end up. -Whole Pet does not care what happens to your pet and will not check on them even if they are having a crisis and they get turned away at their own clinic… -Whole pet does not know how to communicate and answer simple questions -Technically friendly people

Mannerism and having to talk to vet tech then. Dr with same thing. Why aren’t both there? Then I’m charged to health assessment and not touching or anything was done. Because I took another spot for another animal. 2nd time here with this dog and will be my last. $89 for a talk of 5 minutes cause I didn’t want them to poke a sterile needle into my dogs bladder instead of a catch. Dr Bennet was great but the blonde I seen today less than par and the vet tech. Not impressed and will pass the word.

Friendly, reliable and knowledgeable staff! They always take our concerns into consideration and explain mediations or conditions thoroughly for our pets.
