Sad to give this rating, came here years ago for my other esa cat and was a great experience now when I’m homeless living in my car with my two esa cats and one got out of my car found over a week later, now she’s injured, can’t eat or drink and is having trouble breathing but no help unless I have almost 300$ for the exam etc smh

The ophthalmology team was very professional and knowledgable. My senior dog was having an acute eye problem. They were able to schedule him and perform the intervention next day. I understand the need for a referral from our local vet, however this did cause a delay and stress in scheduling. Our local vet did not make the referral call in a timely manner and therefore, we were working through the ER reception to schedule ophthalmology. (The ER team was very professional and patient with us) But the team is wonderful and explained all options and price points perfectly. The discharge education and itemized invoice was much appreciated and very detailed. I’m so happy with the care we received. After leaving our local vet, we were considering possible euthanasia due to this new eye issue and an ongoing illness in Cody, our beagle. UW was able to provide us with a solution and help Cody’s pain and vision. We’re so grateful!

I have poor short term memory and can't remember the names, but everyone working yesterday morning 8/26 were just the picture perfect examples of friendly veterinary staff. My pigeon left in a happy loaf, content and unbothered by the gentle hands that cared for him. Everyone was so friendly and pleasant! They were so gentle with little Ari, took time explaining things, complimented me on my animal husbandry, and made me feel good about the care my pigeon received. 100% will go back when we have medical needs. Please enjoy Ari in the special species weighing pot. His concerned but curious face is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. (Don't worry, he got his favorite seeds in the car.)

Our visit was great - it was nice to see Dr. Fusco again as she first assessed Trinket's cardiac condition a year ago (2025) and this was an annual check-in. It brings us such joy to see Trinket active and oftentimes leading our pack (she is a bossy schnauzer) despite having had her health concerns. We know that the care she receives at UW Veterinary Care is a contributing factor.
