I like the veterinarians and staff and been taking my 7 month old puppy there, but the online experience is extremely frustrating. There is no dedicated app, and the website is confusing to navigate. Even something as simple as managing my pet’s prescriptions sends me to an entirely different website instead of keeping everything in one place. It feels disjointed and outdated. Managing appointments, medical records, prescriptions, and communication should all be available through one simple app or a single, well-designed portal. I hope City Dog Vet modernizes its online experience because the current system makes routine tasks much more difficult than they need to be.

We’ve been taking our dog to City Dog Vet for three years—since she was a puppy. Amazing staff. Veterinarians are compassionate and knowledgeable. Caitlyn—the groomer—is fantastic. Our puppy dog is always happy after her grooming. Always a great experience. Highly recommend. ❤️

City dog vet has been by far, the best vet I’ve seen in Madison. Both Dr. Stevens and Dr. Roberts are compassionate, knowledgeable and so helpful. They’re thorough, welcoming and all around spectacular. Additionally, they make themselves available for a phone call if I have questions or need follow up care that doesn’t warrant a second visit. Their staff follows up after every appointment to see how your pet is doing, and my pup has never been in better hands. Additionally, I find their recommendations to be honest and helpful, not at all like a money grab. If I ask about the necessity of something, I get an honest answer and recommendation. I moved out of state and was so sad to leave this vet, but Dr. Stevens was kind enough to refer me to a new vet he recommends to get established. I recommend City Dog Vet to all of my fellow pet owners!!

Dr. Andy is wonderful. Listens and communicates well. Kind and gentle manner with dogs. And the groomer? Also wonderful. Patient, gentle, let me stay with my anxious pu during our visit.
